Unblemished
Brothers and sisters, we are unblemished and blameless before the Lord.
He has reconciled with the body of the flesh of Him through death, to present you holy, and without blemish, and blameless before Him [the Father].
The Christ loved the church and Himself gave over for her, in order that her He might sanctify (make holy), having cleansed by the washing of the water by His words, in order that He might present, He to Himself [the Son], glorious the church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but in order that she may be holy and without blemish.
Some have argued blameless is some day, but the Lord says it is today. In regards to any and every possible sin (any possible charge), even sins directly against the Lord (lawlessness; Heb 10:17), the Lord declares the penalty paid and you — fully innocent, and in present tense, today (through and up to today).
Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God the one declaring justified (present tense, today).
Hebrews clarifies this further. Not only does it say perfected — it says perfected in perfect tense (which is atoned and to the fullest extent possible, unblemished and up to now; perfect tense means never losing perfected at any point) — and if this was not sufficient, it says this into the continuous (uninterrupted). Whereas priests would atone for and ask for forgiveness before approaching the Father, the atonement for us, is like a line that never dips. In Hebrews, Paul says
For with one offering He has perfected (perfect tense) into the continuous those being sanctified.
This is the covenant which I will covenant with them after those days, says the Lord: giving my laws upon their hearts, and upon their mind I will inscribe them,”and,“their sins and their lawless deeds I will certainly remember no more.”
Where forgiveness of these, no longer offering for sin.
Not only are we justified (present tense), we cannot possibly diminish this standing — He has accomplished our perfect standing (nothing left to atone for) with Himself, with the Father, and with the Holy Spirit.
John also wrote a letter to us, and in his heart felt letter, he says we've been forgiven and in perfect tense (each and every sin, and up to now; not the aorist, past tense, but up to now) — which is not under condemnations (which are punishments) — but forgiven — and He told us, it's the same for us.
I write to you, little children, because have been forgiven (perfect tense) to you the sins on account of the Name His.
and continues:
In this has been perfected (perfect tense) the Love with us, so that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is, also we are (present tense) in the world this.
If you ever have a spiritual battle, remember you are unblemished. Close your eyes and pray only to your one True Father — remember it is God that is True.
And if you ever get hung up on Hebrews 6 (falling away and never being able to make it back), or the branches that get removed from Christ (John 6) — remember 1 John 2:19.
From us they went out, but were not from us; for if they had been from us, they would have remained with us; but rather so that it might be made manifest that they each are not from us.
If you've ever been born again — you remain unblemished to this day.
Thanks and praise be to Yeshua, the Christ, who saved us (Titus 3:4), and took on the condemnation of sin (Rom 8:3), our Shepherd and our Love. Thanks and praise be to the Father, who with His Son, did these things, and from Whom we have entered into even the sabbitical rest of God (Heb 4:3). Thanks and praise be to the Holy Spirit, who transformed us, and gave us hearts for God (Titus 3:5). Ahmen.
